BY PLANE

Gainesville Regional Airport offers a number of daily flights into the city, with service provided by the Delta Connection (operated by Atlantic Southeast Airlines) and US Air Express (operated by PSA Airlines). The Hilton Hotel provides complimentary curbside shuttle service from the airport to the conference center. It doesn’t get any easier than this.

Jacksonville International Airport is served by more than a dozen major airlines providing hundreds of nonstop and connecting flights from a number of major cities. From the Jacksonville airport, you may make an advance reservation with Runways Transportation Company* to provide airport shuttle service for the 90-minute drive to Gainesville. Or rent a car and make the drive yourself.

If you’re driving, from the airport, head south on I-295 to I-10, then westbound on I-10 13 miles to Exit 343 (Baldwin/U.S. 301). Head south on U.S. 301 through Starke to Waldo. In Waldo, turn right onto State Road 24 and drive 15 miles to Gainesville. Turn right onto East University Avenue, which will take you through the downtown area and past the University of Florida campus. Turn left onto SW 34th St. and drive 1-1/2 miles, where you’ll find the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center on the right.

Orlando International Airport offers hundreds of daily flights from most major domestic air carriers, including American, Continental, Delta, United, and US Air, along with a host of international air carriers. Runways Transportation Company* provides airport shuttle service for the two-hour commute from Orlando to Gainesville via the Florida Turnpike and I-75. Make your reservations in advance.

Or rent a car and make the drive yourself: From the airport, head west on the Beeline Expressway to the Florida Turnpike. Take the Florida Turnpike north until it merges with I-75 in Wildwood. Continue north on I-75 to Exit 382 (State Road 121) in Gainesville. At the exit, turn left onto SR 121/N-331/SW Williston Road, and then make an immediate left onto SR 121/ SW 34th Street. Drive 2-1/2 miles to the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center on your left.,/p>

From Atlanta and points north: Take I-75 south to Gainesville. In Gainesville, take Exit 384 (SW Archer Rd.) and turn left onto SW Archer Rd. Make another left onto Southwest 34th Street. Travel 1/2 mile to the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center on the left.

From Pensacola and points west: Take I-10 east to I-75. Head south on I-75 to Gainesville. In Gainesville, take Exit 384 (SW Archer Rd.), and turn left onto SW Archer Rd. Make another left onto SW 34th Street. Travel 1/2 mile to the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center on the left.

From Savannah and points north: Take I-95 southbound to Jacksonville. Take I-295 to I-10, then westbound on I-10 13 miles to Exit 343 (Baldwin/U.S. 301).
